Using Only the Best Water Tanks

When it comes to selecting our products, we believe in doing things right. We choose our products based on their performance and longevity. With that in mind, we carry Flexcon fiberglass tanks and the top-of-the-line Amtrol WELL-X-TROL water tanks. Amtrol makes steel water tanks that are built to last with quality woven throughout the manufacturing process. They are made with a polypropylene liner and a butyl diaphragm to prevent a rubbery taste that inferior water tanks can give your water.

We use all brass fittings when we install your water pressure tank—no plastic fittings that may crack or wear out quickly. You can expect your steel water tank to last about 10 to 15 years.

It always surprises us how little attention most homeowners pay to such important fixtures as their wells and water tanks. Just as you service your heating and air conditioning unit, you should also be regularly servicing your water tank. Our rule of thumb is to service your well tank every two to three years. A properly maintained water tank will help extend the life of your jet pump or submersible pump. If your water tank is not serviced, it will make your pump wear out more quickly. Our water tank services include the following items:

  • Replace the switch, gauge, and release valve as needed.
  • Replace any other worn or defective parts on the pump.
  • Check to make sure the water tank functions properly.
  • Air charge the tank.
